Rifle pressure is 70,000 pounds per square inch (psi) and handgun pressure is 40,000 psi.  That is a lot of possible damage.  We are going to look at how to calculate the three different path factors.   Look carefully at the problems.  All the formulas use basic multiplication and division.  Remember to balance your formulas.
